MCHS HIGHLIGHTS
Walker signs with Cleveland State Community College.
The MCHS FFA Chapter competed in the 88th Annual State FFA convention over spring break. Charlie Armour and Austin Moore were State winners in their Proficiency Award Areas. The Parlimentary Procedure team finished 5th in the state, and Megan Holmes was 6th in Extemporaneous Public Speaking.  Thirteen students received their State Degree.
Ally Clark was elected to the State FFA officer team during the State Convention held in Gatlinburg over spring break.  Ally has worked extremely hard preparing for the rigorous interview process. She is looking forward to the many opportunities that she will get to experience this coming year including FFA camp where she hopes to form many new relationships.  Her future plans include attending The University of Tennessee Knoxville in the fall and majoring in Agriculture Communication then attend law school where upon graduating she hopes to become a lobbyist for agriculture policies.
Meigs County has not had a state officer in over 40 years which makes us even more excited for Ally!
Over spring break, HOSA attended the State Convention at Opryland Hotel. Eleven students attended, seven competed, and Lily Gay placed fourth in Home Health Aide. These students have worked hard all year to prepare for their competitions, and their hard work paid off.
