Annual Greenhouse Sales Underway - Apr 14, 2016 - 10:36:23 AM

Beginning April 11th, the Meigs County FFA Greenhouse will be open every school day from 8 AM to 4 PM. It will also be open for special hours on Saturday, April 23rd from 10 AM to 4 PM and April 26th from 4 PM to 8 PM. A variety of plants, from flowers to vegetables, will be available for purchase. Please come support your local FFA chapter!

Meigs Middle Archery - Apr 1, 2016 - 3:00:17 PM

The Meigs Middle Archery Team placed 11th in the state tournament which was held in Murfreesboro on March 30th.  Jay Tyson placed 1st, Archer Reese placed 5th, and Caleb Smith placed 6th in the middle school boys division.  These three boys will compete in the National Championship in Kentucky.  Congratulations Archery Team!

Americanism Contest - Mar 30, 2016 - 1:41:17 PM

The 2016 Americanism Contest winners sponsored by AMVETS Post 90 in Decatur have been announced:  6th grade - 1st place on post level and 1st on state leve and goes to national level in August is Ashlyn Rayl.  7th grade - 1st on post level and 2nd on state level is Kady Erickson.  8th grade - 1st on post level and 2nd on state level is Arika Reed.  Congratulations Meigs Middle School students!

HOSA Competes at State Convention - Mar 30, 2016 - 10:10:53 AM

Over spring break, HOSA attended the State Convention at Opryland Hotel. Eleven students attended, seven competed, and Lily Gay placed fourth in Home Health Aide. These students have worked hard all year to prepare for their competitions, and their hard work paid off.
