                                  Earth’s Fireworks

Did you know that our earth is put together like one big jigsaw puzzle?  Have you ever wondered how far down it is to the center of the earth?

These are a couple of facts Mrs. King’s third grade class learned as they studied our earth and what it’s made of.  We went deep inside the earth’s core to learn about magma and its mighty force.  We tested rocks and a seismograph.  To cap off our exploration, we wrote reports, did posters, and created our own explosive volcanoes.  We grew in our  knowledge about the earth!
