The State Department of Education has informed local systems of the mandated testing for  the 2018-19 school year.  Follow the link to find blueprints, standards and other information about testing.

The Meigs Board of Education participates in all assessments required by the State of Tennessee. The purpose of these assessments is to assess a students progress against the Tennessee academic standards. Subjects include Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. Test in grades 2 -5 are scheduled to be administered in paper/pencil form. Grades 6-8 and HS are scheduled to be in a online format.   Times and other information can be found on the State Department of education link above. Results from each yearly assessment should be received in the district and schools by early fall. Student results will be shared through a parent/home report as soon as received by the district/schools. (Should be within the first few weeks of school)

         RTI Benchmark assessments in math and ELA  will occur 3 times per year Fall Winter and Spring dates TBA. Online format - approximately 30 minutes in length.

         Work Keys may be offered to Juniors and Seniors in 2019 TBA
