DRESS CODE: Policy Change 2017-18

The dress code policy has been updated. The Meigs County School Board’s Dress Code Policy NO LONGER requires top wear to be solid in color for students in grades 6-12.

The updated segment on top wear is as follows:

“Top Wear: Shirts and blouses must be collared with one-half or full sleeves. Shirts and blouses button in front. Shirts and blouses must be tucked into pants or skirts. No denim, camo, or non-school approved graphic design are allowed. School approved logos are acceptable. A long sleeve crew-neck, sweater vest or sweatshirt may be worn inside the building over the approved shirt with the collar visible. When wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a collared shirt is not required. The sweater is not to be draped or tied over the shoulder or around the waist. Pant pocket(s) openings must be visible.”
